Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother, as well as Wayne David Cardellini (a father) and an entrepreneur. Cinderella (2015) is her first film following the time she was the lead actress in Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey, a time-based drama. James was later cast as the role of Countess Natasha Rostova in the television adaptation of War & Peace (2016) and starred in several movies, including the action movie Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) and The Dig (2021), and the musicals Mamma Mia! and Here We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). Pam & Tommy, a biographical series on television based upon Pamela Anderson's life Pamela Anderson (released in 2022), earned her nominations for Golden Globe Award winner and a Primetime Emmy Award.
